Entertainments is the club’s name for the social events, which help finance the running of the club and minimise the annual subscriptions which each member pays the club, its district and international organisations. It is a principle of all Lions clubs that they do not use charity money for running the club.

The social calendar includes two formal events, a Ladies Christmas meal and the club’s Annual Charter dinner to celebrate the club’s “birthday”.

Other events include country walks, wine and cheese quizzes, meals out, theatre visits, themed evenings and travelling suppers.
